Directionally challenged........

I started a new paper piecing (foundation piecing) project this week....I had been feeling quite pleased with my pp skills after completing my panda
However,
something has gone terribly wrong!!
For the first time, I am using directional fabric........extreme directional!!
And its not going well....
I cannot get my brain to figure out how to place the fabric on backwards, and have it turn in the right direction after sewing an angle seam and flipping......

These few pieces took me 2 hours.....about six sessions with the seam ripper...and 2 reprints of the pattern!!

And its still not right....
I even managed to cut off corners just to make it even more fun!
I am seriously frustrated.
Time to take a break and reassess!
Hope your sewing is going better!

Sounds like you need to take a break and recharge. Hang in there! :)

It is all about the process! :) I am convinced that if it were easy we'd get bored.....hehe

Mmmm I think you need a break and if you drink a glass of wine perhaps. Oooh or warm milk. That sounds good, I need warm milk, yum! Hahahahaa...You'll nail it next time I know it!
